Obituary for Stacie Day Freeman
After a courageous battle with cancer our beautiful Stacie passed away on June 20, 2023 at the age of 47.
Now reunited with her parents Donnie Freeman Sr. and Willie Day. Lovingly remembered by her children, Anthony, Asia, Maia, and Leila “Bean”. She will be greatly missed by siblings Donnie Freeman Jr., Jerry Day, Kerri Day, and step-sister Kelly Day. Stacie had an amazing support system made up of incredible friends and family. She was so greatly loved by too many to name.
Stacie was deeply valued and well respected as part of the Caesar’s Windsor Management Team. She was proud of her recent promotion to Casino Manager after 26 years of dedication and hard work.
Stacie’s greatest love was her 4 children and the bond they shared. She had a vibrant energy about her and could illuminate a room with her smile. She was an inspiration and a safe space for anyone that was fortunate enough to know her.
As per Stacie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will take place at Families First Funeral Home in South Windsor (3260 Dougall Ave. 519-969-5841) on Saturday, June 24, 2023 from 1 – 3 and 5 – 7 p.m. Visiting will continue at the funeral home on Sunday, June 25, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m.
