Passed away peacefully at home with family at the age of 39 after a valiant battle with cancer. Dear wife of Kyle. Loving mom of Jack, Noah and step son Troy. She will be missed by her “Coops”. Loving daughter of Tony and Diane Giacalone. Loving sister to Jenn (Jeff) Bradford and Larry Giacalone. Dear aunt to Christina, Dominique, Mercedes, Luca and Nico. Dear daughter-in-law to Ann and late Jim Dafoe. Loving sister-in-law to Tammy Dafoe. Dear aunt to Thomas. Dear granddaughter to late Laureato and Anna Giacalone and late Leonard and Irene Lepain and “grandma” Margaret and late “grandpa” Dave. Dear niece of Carol, Barb (Jim), Doug, Eddie, Pierina (George), Phil (Christine), Josie (Jerry), Mary (Rob) and their families, Billie Jo and Lisa.

Stephanie grew up in Leamington, attended St. Clair College graduated with a certificate in Human Resources and took a position at Vista Print, where she loved her job and the people she worked with. She loved to play baseball and bowl as a young girl. Stephanie touched many lives being the most loving, kind and genuine person. Everyone she met gravitated towards her. She was a friend to many but her world was her family, especially her sons.

The family wishes to thank the staff at VON, (Vicki, Kelly, Jessica, Katie, Randie, Sherilyn, Zaya, Angie, and Adaja), The Hospice of Windsor, Windsor Cancer Centre, and PSW’s (Tammy and Senada) for the fantastic care and compassion shown to Stephanie and family.

A special thank you to our family and Stephanie’s friends for their love, support and generosity over the last few years.

In following Stephanie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial visiting at Families First, 1065 Lauzon Rd., East Windsor, 519-969-5841 on Sunday, May 28, 2023 from 2-5 and 7 to 9pm. Words of Remembrance at 8pm. A Celebration of Stephanie’s Life will take place at a later date.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to VON of Windsor/Essex County (Palliative Care), Hospice of Windsor, or to Jack and Noah Dafoe (cheques may be payable to "Jack and Noah Dafoe").
