It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our strong, loving and devoted dad on October 11, 2018 at 92 years of age. Reunited with his cherished wife Anne (nee Prpich) (2004). He will be deeply missed by his children Steven (Claudette), Jeff (2006), Cindy (Steve Perduk) and Karen Nageleisen. Treasured Grandpa of Laura Tremblay (Dave), Stephen (Sarah), Christopher (Abbey), Kelly Desjardins (Steven), Nicholas, Lauren (Jake Hickson), Corey (Christina) and Scott. Proud great-grandpa of eight. Dear brother of John and Walter (Marlene). He was born June 28, 1926 in Karlovac, Croatia. He immigrated to Canada in 1939 with his mother Katie (1995) and they joined his father Steve (1991) in Hamilton, Ontario. Stephen worked at Dofasco then moved to Windsor in 1955 where he became the owner of the Grand Tavern for 56 years. Dad had this amazing charm, incredibly fast wit, a humble disposition and a genuine heart. We will miss him dearly. Dad, “Say hello to all the people we know”.
