On Wednesday, January 6, 2021, Stephen passed away peacefully, at the age of 66, with his family and Pastor, gratefully, at his bedside. Born in Windsor, Ontario on May 10, 1954 to Gordon (2007) and Evelyn (2015) Fox. He is survived by his siblings/in-laws: Brian Casey, Tena Fox, Douglas and Dana Fox, Jeff and Kelly Bradley. He will be sadly missed by his nephews and nieces. Predeceased by his sister Elaine Casey (2018), his brother Kenneth Fox (1969) and his nephew Cameron Fox (2016). He will also be fondly remembered by his extended family from Riverside Baptist Church, The Salvation Army, as well as numerous friends and former students.

Stephen was a teacher with the Public Board (GECDSB) for 39 years, and continued to mentor into retirement. Stephen loved all things music, and that became his passion in life. His students were very important to him, and he was always encouraging them to expect the very best for themselves. Stephen was a man of strong faith, which carried him through all of his life challenges.

A private family service will be held and cremation will take place.
