Obituary for Stephen Swintak
Passed away peacefully on June 30, 2020 at 102 years of age.
Reunited with his wife Natalia (2018) of 75 years, and daughter Linda Christensen (2017). Loving father of Ron Swintak (Darleen), Patricia Hynds (Linn). Cherished grandfather of Lindy (the late David), Kristopher, Christine (Allan), Douglas (Michelle), Nicholas (Jennifer), Sean (Amanda), Robert (Christina) and Aaron. Great grandfather of Devin, Mackenzie, Liam, Molly, Brianne, Austin, Emily, the late Melissa, Mason, Jacob, Henry, and Eleanor “Ellie Mae”. Predeceased by his siblings Bill Swintak, Stanley Swintak, Michael Swintak, Mary Yaworski, Olga Kokolski, Tony Swintak, Morris Swintak. Survived by his brothers John and wife Anne Swintak and Peter Swyntak and his late wife Stella.
He was a veteran of WWII and he was retired from the GM Transmission Plant. Steve and Natalia were residents of Villages of St. Clair since its opening in 2014. The family is grateful to the dedicated and loving staff in the Oldcastle neighbourhood for their excellent care.
A private funeral was held on Friday July 3rd at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841. Interment followed at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
