Sylvia Farrugia (Charbon)

Passed away peacefully on April 22, 2020 as the result of COVID-19 at the age of 82 years. Loving wife to Joseph, with whom she celebrated 59 years.

Cherished mother to Charmaine, Stephanie (Brian) and Simone (Daniel). Adoring Nanna to Keegan, Aidan, Noah, Logan, Hudson and Zachary. Beloved daughter to the late Joseph and Josephine Charbon. Dear sister to Louis (Irene), Marianne (Sam), Agnes (Luigi) and the late Charlie (survived by his wife Grace), and the late Rose. Sylvia will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Sylvia was a former employee of Casino Windsor. She was a shining light, loved by all who knew her and was known for her most radiant smile. She will always be remembered by her big heart, selfless acts of kindness and her wisdom. Anyone who knew her instantly became her family. A cherished, wife, mother, Nanna and sister that will be missed by all. Rest in peace Mom, until we meet again, we will miss you. If you so desire memorial donations to the St. Vincent de Paul Society or Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation-COVID Fund would be appreciated by the family.

Private family cremation services have taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
