How devastated i was when I phoned just before Christmas 2 years ago when Stewart answered the phone and told me the devastating news that you have not been able to beat cancer. I never knew that you passed due to I no longer get the Windsor Star, I was shocked beyond belief. You certainly left him strong as he told me he was making your special cauliflower that you always made for Christmas dinner, and that you are now in heaven with his mom. Much love for ALL still left on earth fighting this terrible covid Aunti Kaye

My Dear Stuart and Families: My heart was broken "in a million pieces" when you told me the extremely sad news, --(when I called you on Christmas Day), that your dear Sylvia had lost her battle with breast cancer. As you said, she is up with your very dear mom. I was also so proud of you for trying your best to cook the Christmas dinner that she always cooked. With very special thoughts, Deepest sympathy and so much love, Antie Kaye and Families

I had the pleasure of having Sylvia for a co-worker and friend for many years. We had lunch together almost every day for years. She was a good mother, wife and friend. I retired over a year ago but came down and picked her up for lunch several times. I will greatly miss my friend until we meet again love you Sylvia 💕

My deepest sympathy to Sylvia's family. I walked by her desk almost daily for years and she was a ray of sunshine. Never in a bad mood, always a friendly smile and hello. Everyone in this office will miss that warm smile. In the years I knew her I'm embarrassed to say I did not know of her illness. Now I will always remember her that way. She only shared happy thoughts with me and never wanted to share any burden. What a wonderful person. Dave Cannon

I am so very sorry for your loss. I did not know Sylvia well but started work at the AG's office in the spring and worked on the same floor with her. Sylvia always had a smile and "good morning" - she never said no if I needed help or advice. I know she will be greatly missed by everyone that worked with her over her many years of work here. -Robyn

To Sylvia's family, I saw Sylvia at the end of August and she was her usual friendly and cheerful self and looked and acted well. I had no idea she was so ill. She didn't say a word about it instead expressing interest in others. What a wonderful person she was. I am happy to have known her.
