May God bless and comfort and give strength to the entire Azzopardi family. His Angels are working overtime to protect and guide you through this very sad time and will continue to help you through the pain and suffering in the days ahead. Just know that on earth there are Angels as well and we will be there to help ease your broken hearts. Aunt Sylvia touched many lives on earth as she will in Heaven. I have watched, learned and laughed at this women for many years. She was a pure delight to be around, if you were so lucky to have her in your life. They say count your blessings, well I have truly been blessed by her company and companionship. Several years ago we started with our group of 7 gals, mothers, daughters and special aunts and travelled together to many fun filled weekends. Sadly it was her time to leave us to join her Heavenly loved ones. There she will have everyone in stitches telling them all her wonderful stories the way that only she can tell them. I would like to share a few of my fond memories with this crazy Aunt of mine. On one particular weekend we stayed in a motel with joining rooms, which was always fun, determining who stayed in what room because we all wanted to be together and didn't want to miss out on any given silly moment. I won't give out any names to protect the innocent but I can tell you that she had beautiful silver hair and a squeaky voice. This woman made a bad choice packing a pyjama top that you could slightly see through. The first night she came into our room we noticed that she had 2 band aides covering up her, you know what. That weekend she got ribbed quite a bit and was probably sorry she didn't take the time to pick out a better one. Did she neglect to do this, was it planed? We will never know and I wished I would have asked her, knowing I may not get the true answer anyways. One weekend we went to the Holiday Inn in Windsor and had a great time farting around in the pool area. I was taking lots of pictures of everyone in and around the pool. I spent at least 15 minutes trying to get her to show me her middle finger for the camera. It was hard work but well worth the shot. It's one of my favourites. One weekend we all stayed in a cabin at Acorn Lodge and I thought I'd make the weekend interesting by pulling a few pranks on everybody. I brought some fake mice with me and attached them to strings to set up as booby traps in various cupboards and doors. Some took my shenanigans in stride but not AUNT SQUEAKY! I think it was the first time she ever gave me royal shit for scaring the living daylights out of her. I almost wet my drawers laughing so hard, but she didn't think it was funny at the time. The thing I loved about her the best, is that she loved trouble and trouble loved her. She was a great partner in crime, even when it came to harassing a few motel clerks. She loved to be part of the action and I loved her for it. I could write a book, but I'm not that good. I only wish I could have grown up in that house of love where Mimi and Pipi raised 14 spectacular children, or grew up as a childhood friend. Man....those were the days! I'm really going to miss you dearly and will never let those memories stray from my heart. LOVE YOU LOTS AND FOREVER! DJ XOXOXO
