Obituary for Teresa Dycha (Murru)

April 13, 1964 – January 22, 2024

With immeasurable sadness, we announce the passing of Teresa, with her family by her side. Teresa suffered with dignity for three years with ALS. Teresa was born in Italy to Cesare (2017) and Lidia. She immigrated as a youngster to Canada. She was raised in Wallaceburg and attended the University of Windsor, where she met her husband of 33 years, Stephen. Teresa was a teacher with the WECDSB and had a wonderful career. Teresa and Stephen raised two amazing children, Joshua (Sydney) and Celia (Nicolas). Our family was bonded with love in travel, sports, gardening, cooking, long walks, and more. She adored her pets, past and present. Teresa was loved by anyone who knew her. She is survived by family and friends who will miss her dearly. Her husband and children cared for her in a fashion that showed compassion, love, and dignity.

We weren’t done yet.

Special thank you to the many physicians, PSWs, nurses, therapists, friends and family who supported Teresa.

In lieu of flowers, donations to ALS Windsor would be appreciated by the family.

A private family service has been held.

Arrangements entrusted to FAMILIES FIRST 1065 LAUZON RD. East Windsor, 519-969-5841.
