Tim John Tremblay

Passed away January 16th, 2019, at 57 years of age on his own terms, from the cherished arms of his wife Shelley to the waiting arms of his late mother, Dot. Loving father of daughter Alicia and son Evan. Beloved son of Robert and stepmother Debbie, big brother to Bob, Jake (Sandra). Little brother to the late Todd. Godfather and favorite uncle to Daniel Bennett. He will be desperately missed by his sidekick Louie. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Tim faced great adversity in his life and rose to many challenges, however he achieved his most desired passion in the end by working with the elderly. He earned his diploma with honours as a Social Services Worker - gerontology and secured his dream job with the Alzheimer's society. He was always quick to advocate for those who could not, even serving on the Renal Patient & Family Advisory Committee. Tim was very proud of his accomplishments as a published author contributing to a "Building Tapestry: Exploring Student Attitudes on Aging."

While his wife Shelley was his heartbeat, nothing gave him more pleasure than his musical passion of laying out his drum beats. Tim was an accomplished drummer.

Tim had an easygoing nature and was just as comfortable teaching children how to bake as he was talking to a senior about the good old days. There is no soul that Tim touched with his presence that will ever forget his warm smile, gentle spirit and quick wit.
