Tina Papadimitriou (Vekos)
Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, on December 27, 2018 at the age of 88. Loving wife to late John (2014), with whom she celebrated 56 years of marriage. Cherished mother to Katherine Papadimitriou (Joseph Koutoukalis), Effie Spanos-Papadimitriou and Charles Papadimitriou and wife Lidia Martinus. Adored Yiayia to Alexandra and Matthew Spanos. Dearest daughter to the late Nicholas and Efstathia Vekos. Predeceased by her siblings Christina (Peter) Vitinaros, Peter (Antonia) Vekos, Athanasios (Gloria) Vekos, and Georgia (Petros) Polychronis. Dear sister-in-law to Ilias (Kyriaki) Papadimitriou, late Tasia (Kosta) Polychronopoulos, and late Maria Papadimitriou. Tina will be missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church or the Windsor & Essex County Cancer Centre Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
