Passed away peacefully on October 6, 2008 at the age of 81 after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Arthur for 53 years. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Cheryl and Jonathan, Greg and Kathy, Doug and Nicole, Jeff and Sue. Loving Grandma of Gordon, Julia, Nicholas, Karling, Sarah, Megan, Kaitlyn and Madeline. Dear Aunt of Shirley and Jim Riley and Janet and Ernest Martinez. Val was predeceased by her sister Joy Eastland and her niece Lynette Eastland. The family would like to thank Dr. J. Mathews and the staff at the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre and also the wonderful staff and volunteers at the Hospice Residential Home of Windsor.
