On March 1, 2020 at 62 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Peter (2014). Treasured mother of the late Thomas (2019), Kevin, and Brian. Daughter of Edna and Basil Spence. Dear sister of Norma Hastings and partner Rick Obergan, Heather Courtney and partner Perry Bohnert, and Ian Spence and wife Lee-Anne Warzecha. Sister-in-law of Maureen and husband Paddy Drumm, Raymond and wife Kathleen McManus, Gerard and wife Catherine McManus. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Valerie was the Benefits Coordinator for Bayshore Health Care and she was a longtime member of St. Anne’s Church in Walkerville. Cremation has taken place.
