Our family is saddened to announce the passing of our dear mother on October 27, 2019. Born on March 16, 1923 in Brandon, Manitoba the third daughter of Nicolas and Annie Winnikoff. Reunited with her loving husband Chris J. Gregg (1990) and siblings Mary (2010), Nellie (2007). She is survived by youngest sister Olga “Ollie” Nagorsen. Beloved mother to Manya (Harald) Nolte, Lisa D’Andrea, Martha (Rick) Oliver, Jay (Sharon) Gregg. Cherished grandmother to 6 grandchildren and GG of 3.
Her early years of employment will be remembered for being very active in the Ford Girls Club. Then after taking time to raise her family Vera re-entered the work force in a health care office until her retirement. She was a member of Centres for Seniors (now Life After Fifty) for over 30 years and was recognized by the Provincial Government for her dedication to volunteering. Vera’s many interests included a passion for sewing, cooking, bridge, reading and enjoyment of her family and friends at Seasons-LaSalle.

In lieu of flowers, Vera’s wishes are that her memory be celebrated by your performing a random act of kindness. Cremation has taken place.
