Obituary for Verlie O'Halloran

Passed peacefully, on April 30, 2022, at 81 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Gerald (2013). Cherished mother of the late Maureen Schultz (2017) (Mitch), Colleen St. Pierre (Phil), Shawn O’Halloran (Vicki), and Sharlene Brunet (Scott). Loving Meme of Jessica and Max St. Pierre, Gabe and Liam O’Halloran, and Steven and Victoria Brunet. Dear sister of Wayne Hutchinson. Predeceased by parents Ewart and Della Hutchinson, brother Roger Hutchinson and sister Gloria Phillips-Allard. Dear sister-in-law of the late Colleen LaButte (Ray). Verlie was the most loving, giving, and kind Mom and Meme. Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her. Verlie was a long-time member of Holy Name of Mary Church and enjoyed being a part of the “Meat Pie Ladies” and volunteering for the church bazaar. She loved playing Bingo, Euchre, and going to the casino to see shows and play the slot machines. Verlie was the best cook and baker and we always looked forward to Holidays and Sunday dinners. She loved music, especially Bobby Vinton, Paul Anka and Neil Diamond. Verlie was a resident of the Devonshire Retirement Residence since April 2015, where she enjoyed special friendships. She was happy and thrived there and participated in social activities like dancing, exercising, and attending Mass. Verlie will be remembered forever in the hearts of her family and friends. For those who wish, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
