Obituary for Vern C. Crew
Passed away peacefully on January 10, 2023 at the age of 89.
Now reunited with his loving wife, Carol, and his daughter, Victoria. Devoted father of Terry Crew and Kathy (Jerome) Roy. Proud Grandpa of Jusdina (Shawn) and Kurtis. Great-Grandpa of Paisley, Audrina, and Scarlett. Dear brother of Robert (the late Judy) Crew and the late Anne (Bob) Cape. Brother-in-law of Pete (Mary-Jane) Ryan. He will also be missed by extended family and friends.
Vern was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #255. He was a veteran of the Canadian Navy aboard the destroyer, Nootka, and served in the Korean Conflict.

As per Vern’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will be held on January 21, 2023 at the Families First Funeral Home in East Windsor (1065 Lauzon Rd. 519-969-5841) from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 12:00 p.m.
