Victor Sartori

Sometimes, someone great leaves your life. On Monday, March 30, 2020, for us it was Vic. A cancer survivor, and a 22 year unheard of, courageous fighter of Parkinson’s, he has finally earned his place in Heaven. Joining his wife and sparring partner Joan Elizabeth who surely has missed him. Also waiting with absolute love is his mother Iolanda and father Giordono. He will also be reunited with his beautiful sisters Delfina and Lena. Eternally grateful for the love and sacrifice to give us the life that we have been able to enjoy are Lisa and Vince his children. Forever the apple of his eye is Shelby Elizabeth, his loving granddaughter. Vic is survived by his best friend and brother John (Denise). Al and Sue, Bob and Janis will forever be not only in-laws but the greatest of friends to him. Vic will be sadly be missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family and many dear friends.

Throughout his life as an athlete, a tool maker, avid fisherman, and all around great story teller, he touched many people. For those friends and friends we consider family, we would like to extend an incredible thank you, for the part that you played in making Vic’s life as special as is was.

Thank you to the staff at Chartwell Royal Oak, in Kingsville. Especially everyone in the Magnolia Neighbourhood. To us you are not staff, you are the closest that Vic had to family, compassionately caring for him until the end. Our gratitude to you is immeasurable.

If you so desire, donations to the MS Society of Canada, Windsor & Essex County Cancer Centre Foundation, Alzheimer Society Windsor & Essex Co., Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation or Parkinson Foundation of Southwestern Ontario would be appreciated by the family.

If you are able, please make a blood donation in memory of Vic at the Canadian Blood Services.

A private family service has taken place. A celebration of Vic’s life will take place at a later date to give him the send-off he truly deserves. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841.
