Passed away peacefully on February 23, 2020 at 85 years of age. Beloved husband of Jacky for 30 years. Will be greatly missed by son Doug, daughter Sheri, her husband Steve, and grandchildren Kaitlin and Tyler. Will be remembered by daughter Brenda, son-in-law Michael and family. Walter is forever grateful to his wife’s family: Cindy and Paul, April and Tim, Jeff and Nancy, and Donna. Loving appreciation is offered to good friends, neighbours, and the skilled doctors and nurses who cared for him throughout his senior years. Early in his life he worked as a Custom’s Officer, and then as a Chief Clerk in the Building Department for the City of Windsor for 28 years. Dad, we will miss your funny stories and the fact that you could build and fix just about anything. Cremation has taken place. Scattering of his ashes will be on a beautiful sunny day this spring in St. Thomas, Ontario.
