Walter "Walt" Hoffman

84 years, passed away peacefully and surrounded with the love of his family on July 11, 2020.

Beloved husband and best friend of Debbie (nee Bielich) for 43 years. Loved father of Diane (Guy) DeMarco, Nancy (Dave) Adams, Susan (Jason) Bray, Jim (Diana) Hoffman, and Angie (Justin) Cameron. Devoted Papa of Meaghen (Alex), Colin, Carolyn, Scott, Jenna, Victoria, Amy, Joey, Andrea and his “Baby Girl” Brielle. He will be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Walter retired from Sunlife Insurance after 44 years of service and was a million dollar producer. He was also an owner of the Southwood Hotel. He enjoyed sports and was a great baseball player. He had a special love for hockey who played up to the age of 72. He was also an avid boater who went on many adventures with his wife and was a member of the Sun Parlor Boat Club. There were many vacations with his wife Debbie, where they created so many beautiful memories. Walter had a kind and loving heart, he was very generous and will be truly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

If you so desire, donations may be made to the HDGHC Dr. Y Emara Centre.

Cremation has taken place at Walter’s request.
