Obituary for William Culverwell

Bill was born to parents Fred and Margaret Culverwell on July 11, 1950 in Windsor Ontario. He grew up as the youngest of 4 attending Marlborough Elementary and then Coronation Elementary where he met the love of his life Connie Culverwell (nee Pukay) and married her April 25, 1970. Bill was a member of the Army Reserves from 1966-1968 and worked at Chrysler starting in 1968, interrupted in 1979 with a layoff when he moved to Nova Scotia where he worked for Hawker-Siddeley. He resumed working at Chrysler in 1981 where he retired in 2001. Bill will be remembered for his love of golf, fishing, and trap shooting and his renowned larger-than-life personality, his storytelling skills, generosity and ability to make those around him feel important. He will be dearly missed by his cherished wife of 50 years Connie, son Dureck and wife Renée Culverwell (nee Durocher), his daughter Lana and husband Derek Jones. Treasured Grumps/Gramps of his grandchildren Kenny and Adѐle Culverwell and Best Buddy of grandchild Atticus Jones. Also survived by sister Mary Ann Mayea; brother Ross Nesbitt and wife Linda as well as dearly loved nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother Paul Culverwell.
