Obituary for William Dobranski

Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on June 1, 2012 at 57 years of age. Survived by his devoted wife Diane and daughter Kelley. Beloved son of Ruby and the late William Sr. Dobranski. Dear brother of Jean Towle and partner Don Kennedy, Lynda and Bob Mastronardi, and the late Freddie. Dear brother-in-law of Rochelle and Glen Mullins, Robert and Denise Bondy, Barbara and John Cole, Ken Bondy, Mary Bondy, and the late Harry Bondy. He will be sadly missed by numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces. William was an Industrial Engineering honours graduate of St. Clair College. An innovative and talented engineer with over 35 years of experience in the automotive industry, having worked for Ford, Chrysler, OEM Suppliers, KPMG and Deloitte and Touche; a consultant for Harley-Davidson and Black and Veatch. Member of the American Society for Quality and Certified RAB QMS head Assessor. An avid athlete, William loved golf, squash, curling, volleyball and yacht racing. The family has many fond memories of William's greatest passions, sailing and skiing. A very special thank-you to Dr. Tan and all of the team of wonderful health practitioners at Metropolitan Hospital. Memorial donations to the Ontario Lung Association – Windsor Division or to Transition to Betterness would be appreciated. Visiting Sunday 7-9 pm and Monday 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm with parish prayers Monday 7:30 pm at Families First 1065 Lauzon Rd. East Windsor, 519-969-5841. On Tuesday, friends and family are invited to meet after 9:30 am at St. Anne Church (12233 Tecumseh Rd. E) followed by Mass at 10:30 am. Interment to follow Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
