Yan Hua Zhang was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She spent her last days surrounded by her family and passed away peacefully at home at the age of 86 on May 17, 2022.

She was a loyal and dutiful wife to the late Shi Guang Yan. She was a loving mother to Jingming Yan (Anh Yan), Li Xin Yan (Hong Tao Zhu), and Li Sheng Yan. NaiNai was adored by her 5 grandchildren Connie, Colleen, Calvin, Zi Xuan, and William.

Yan Hua immigrated to Canada in 1994. She lived a full and happy life in both China and Canada and was admired by many. She faced every challenge in life with incredible strength and courage. She was extremely considerate, very forgiving and welcomed everyone with an open heart. Her kindness and warm smile will be remembered in our hearts forever.
