Peacefully on June 15, 2020 at 89 years of age. Reunited with her beloved husband Tom (2002). Loving mother of Heather and Scott Draper, Tom and Brenda, Tim, Terry and Karen, and Jo-Ann. Special Grandma of Jason, Nadine and Justin, Valerie and Derek, Jessica, Dave, Sean, Callie, Brittany and Fred and Great-Grandma to Logan, Ethan, Madeline and Scarlett. She will be missed by her nieces and nephews from coast to coast, and her friends at Ashgrove Manor.

Joan will be remembered for her outgoing nature and her love of family. Joan was raised in Nova Scotia and it held a special place in her heart. Joan and her husband Tom were proud members of the R.C.L. Br#143 where they enjoyed friends and a cold beer. She enjoyed gardening, playing darts, and outings with friends, making crafts and the season of Christmas.

Memorial donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion, Poppy Fund or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.

Private family services were held.
