It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beautiful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, on June 19, 2019 at the age of 90. Reunited with the love of her life Russ (2005). Loving mother of Kim Saunders (Randy), Tracy Desmarais (Bob), and Jill Penney. Cherished grandmother of Jeremy Desmarais-Borges (Nelson), Jessica Jarvis (Kevin), Janna Desmarais, Lindsay Peleikis, Russell Saunders (Amanda), Matthew, Brennan and Rebecca McGuire. Special great-grandmother of Owen, Kara, Luke, Easton, Deacon, Sylvia, Syrena and Syvannah. Germaine will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews and their families. In keeping with Germaine's wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Families First Funeral Home, 1065 Lauzon Ave., East Windsor for Memorial visitation on Sunday June 23, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. until time of funeral service celebrating Germaine’s life at 8:00 p.m. If you so desire, donations may be made to Alzheimer Society of Windsor – Essex County.
