Ada Oliver

Today we celebrate the life of Ada February 7, 1916 to September 25, 2008.

Loving wife of the late Russell Bulmer (1971) and Roy Oliver (1986). Left to cherish her memories and love are her son Robert (Georgia) Bulmer and the late Edward Bulmer (1996) husband of June Bulmer. Loving Nana to Eddie (Huguette) Bulmer, Terri (Myran) Rivard, Randy Bulmer, Chris (Robin) Bulmer and Donna Janisse. Beloved Grams to Cheri Fahringer. Ada (G.G.) was also adored by many great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.Waiting for her with open arms in heaven are her parents Fred and Eva Wakeling. Siblings Percy, William, Emily, Madeline, Alice and Jack. Many nieces and nephews also survive. Ada was a long time employee of Woolworths. She is well remembered for her love of crafts, bowling, playing the organ and her elegant dress attire. As her years went on and she journeyed to Huron Lodge, she will be fondly noted for her daily "happy hours" and enjoyment of Kaluha or Rum and coke with her friend Marge Hodgkins. So we toast to you Ada our "angel and lovey" to share a drink and pass along the most wonderful memories a person could ever have. Thank you for blessing our lives! If you so desire memorial donations to Alzheimers Association or the Windsor and Essex County Humane Society would be appreciated by the family. Cremation has taken place. A graveside memorial service will be held Monday 11:00 a.m. at Greenlawn Cemetery with Rev Peter Aquilina officiating. All are welcome to attend. Arrangements entrusted to Families First Funeral Home & Tribute Centre (519-969-5841) 3260 Dougall Ave.
