At 94 years of age. Peacefully, at Hospice Residence with family by his side. Reunited with his beloved wife Maria (2001). Dear father of Lino (Evelyn); Cathy Favero (Mario); Frank (Doris). Loving nonno of Dean Favero (Nancy); Andrea Altenhof (William); Gregory Baggio (Claudia); Michelle Baggio, Daniel Baggio. Cherished bis-nonno of Sara and Gian Favero; Michael and Jacob Altenhof. Special nonno of Shelley, Gord, Jennifer Raymond and families. Survived by sister Maria Dotto (Italy) and sister-in-law Rosa Baggio (Windsor). Brother of the late Attilio, Giuseppe, Angelo, Mario and Elena. Loved uncle of many nieces and nephews in Windsor and Italy. Alberto was a Chrysler retiree, a WWII Veteran and a long time member of the Caboto Club and Trevisani nel Mondo. He will be remembered for his love of gardening and proudly shared his "harvest" with family and friends. Many heartfelt thanks to the compassionate caregivers and volunteers at Hospice Residence, Chartwell Oak Park staff, CCAC and all those who touched Alberto with their kindness throughout his illness. In lieu of flowers, if you so desire, donations to Hospice Residence would be greatly appreciated by the family. Visiting Monday 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Prayers 4:30pm at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor 519-969-5841. On Tuesday, friends are invited to meet at St. Angela Merici Church (980 Louis Ave.) for Funeral Mass at 11 am.
