Passed away peacefully at home in his 80th year, surrounded by his family. Survived by his treasured wife Julia of 56 years. Loving father of Linda (Mike) Casselman, Jim (Liz) Christie and Amy (Dan) Dion. Beloved grandfather of Lauren, Kaitlyn, Mackenzie, Liam, Alex, Taylor and Nic. Also survived by his sister, Jean (Doug) Taylor of Toronto. Alex was a successful and well respected State Farm Agent for 34 years in Windsor. He was an expert with numbers, names and words. Alex loved a great game of euchre and golf. He was known by his fellow golfers to be well versed in the rules! Alex's tenacity and strong will to live guided him through his many health issues over the last 15 years. He made many friendships along the way and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Many thanks to all the health care professionals along his journey.
