Having fought the good fight, and running the race for 87 years, Alistair Yule Leslie, passed peacefully into the arms of our Lord on Jan 30. Married for 65 years to "the love of his life" Ruth (McInnis). Beloved father of Brian & wife Linda, David & wife Rachelle, Ron & wife Sue. Treasured Grandpa of: Hilary & husband Ian Anderson, Jonathan, Katrina, Andrea, Matthew, Krista & husband Brian Porter, Theresa, Michelle & husband Chris Barr, Sara & Randi. Great-grandpa to baby Joel. Dear son of the late Alexander & Euphemia Leslie. Cherished brother of C.E. (Betty) Leslie & the late Duncan. Al was a member of Sun Parlor Woodcarvers, a long time member of Roseland United Church. He was a veteran of WW II serving in the Royal Canadian Navy, and in his retirement was a published author.
