Peacefully on November 11, 2003 at 75 years of age. Beloved husband of Rozalyn (Roz) and the late Patricia (1969) (nee Cooney). Loving father of Karen and husband Rick Laporte, Brad and wife Eva Robitaille, Angela Sykes, Al and wife Angela Robitaille, Lisa and husband Sarkes Solomon, Michele Ritchie, Paula and husband John Des Rosiers. Father-in-law of Gerry Sykes. Cherished grandfather of Derrick, Daniel, Danielle, Jacqueline, Patrick, Greg, Jeff, Natalie, Alison, Andrew, Sarkes, Diane, Elise, Melissa, John, David, Michael, Andrea. Dearest brother of Sr. Bernadette, Cecile Bondy, Freda Farrand, Monica and husband Roger LaRochelle, Gordon (Martha), the late Gilbert (Gladys), the late Leo (Isabelle), the late Isabelle (Guy). Almer was retired from General Motors Gear & Axle Plant, Detroit. If you so desire, donations to the Capuchins Soup Kitchen would be appreciated by the family.
