Passed away peacefully at the age of 67, into the arms of our Resurrected Lord on April 8, 2012 (Easter Sunday), surrounded by his loving family. Cherished husband and soul-mate of Michelle (Gignac). Loving father of Nathalie, Danielle, and Gilianne (James Bornais). Proud grand-papa of Matthew and Brianna Bornais, and Chloe Roy-Stansfield. Fils de feu Laurent Roy et de feu Madeleine Pratte. Frère bien-aimé de Jacques (Françoise), Thérèse (Ronald) et Liliane de Québec. Dear son-in-law of the late Lucien and Jeanne Gignac. Dear brother-in-law of Elaine Gignac (Norman, 2005), Simone Scott (Don), Marcel Walker (Lorraine, 2009), Sr. Corinne Gignac SNJM, Rachelle Peltier (Maurice), Claire Hryniw (Larry, 1997), Len Gignac (Mary Lynn), and Yvette Gignac (2006). He will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and many friends.　André was an avid sportsman, he was very involved in his Church community, and was a proud member of the French community choir (La chorale du Tricentenaire).
