Today we celebrate the life of Angela Tartaro. Her journey on earth is now complete with her new life in heaven about to begin. Angela will join her predeceased husband, Castrenzi Tartaro (1951) for an eternity. Angela died peacefully at the age of 91. She was born in Sicily, Italy on May 5, 1918. She leaves behind her legacy in two beloved sons; Joe and Maria and Gino and Maria Pia. Most cherished nonna to Enzo and Nina, Frank and Joanne, John and Tonia, Angie and Jason Flowerday, Ezio and Danielle, and Piero. Will be sadly missed by her great-grandchildren Marie, Joe, Dante, Isabella, Alexia, Selena, Lola, Victoria, Thomas, Julia, and Olivia. Dear sister to Maria and Tommaso Lipari. Predeceased by seven brothers in Sicily, Italy. Will also be lovingly remembered by many relatives in Italy, Canada, and the US. The Tartaro family would like to thank the caring and dedicated staff at Richmond Terrace in Amherstburg for your kindness and compassion. You will always be remembered. Angela was a former member of St. Angela Merici Church. If you so desire, memorial donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Breast Cancer Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
