Anita Brown

Passed away peacefully at 63 after a courageous battle with cancer, with her partner Judy Porter and family by her side. Predeceased by her parents Ercell (1983) and Berneice (1999), her brother Jim (1996) and wife Sharon (2000). Dear step-mom of Todd Porter and wife Monica. Dear sister of Bill & Ruth, Art & Gayle, Diane & Jim. Sister-in-law of Janice Noga (Toronto). Will be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Ever missed by Ken, Jeff & Jane, Joe & Carrie, Cathy, Flo, Noreen, Syd and many other friends. Anita was an avid outdoor person who enjoyed many sports. She was the captain of the Essex Hockey Team, the Blue Angels. She leaves her family and friends heartbroken, but her struggles are over and she is at peace. We will have many fond memories of a truly remarkable lady. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Humane Society would be appreciated. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Anita's life will be held at Essex Legion Branch #201 on April 12 from noon until 4 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Families First South Windsor 3260 Dougall Ave. (519) 969 5841.
