Anna Montcalm
Peacefully, on February 23, 2013 with her family by her side at the age of 86 years. Beloved wife of the late George (1992). Loving mother of ten: Paulette Amsden (Peter), Richard (Shirley), Carl (Barbara), Anita Berry (Darryl), Theresa Campeau (Brian), Marc (Diane), Pamela Bested (Todd), Claude (Pam), Mike (Natalie), and the late Paul (2011) (survived by Kathy). Daughter of the late Leon and Amilda Dionne. Dear Meme of 30 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Florence Deschamps (the late Rosaire), Edgar (Loretta), Laura Pattenaude (Eugene), Yvette Noel( Paul), Robert (Evelyn), and the late Sylvio Joseph (survived by Irene), Angela Lacasse (Maurice) and Emile(Jeannine). Survived by sister-in-law Pauline Quinn and numerous nieces and nephews. Anna was a member of the Cercle Missionaire de Ste.Therese, St. Thomas the Apostle Choir, C.W.L., and was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. She shared many friendships through bowling, darts and the Red Hat Ladies. Mom's passion was her family and walking and gardening were her relaxation. In kindness, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Special thanks to Dr. Sijan and the 6th Floor staff at Met. Hospital. Also, thanks to the caring staff of Season's Lakeshore. Visiting Tuesday from 3-5, 7-9 pm with prayers at 4 pm. Funeral Wednesday at 9 am from Families First 1065 Lauzon Rd. East Windsor, 519-969-5841 to St. John Vianney Church (385 Dieppe at Cedarview Streets) for Words of Remembrance at 10:15 am to be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial. A committal will follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
