Born in Rebrin, Slovakia on March 12th, 1922, Anne passed peacefully on April 19th with loving family at her side. She is reunited at last with her beloved husband John (1988). Cherished mother of R. John (Pat Ewasyke), James Henry (1942), Irene (Joe Timko), Mabel (Joe Riordon), Eleanor (Dan Marcuz), and Darlene (Stan Zin).

Beloved Baba of Kerri (Bruce Loney), John, Kris (Chris Richard), and Koni (Duane Klaming); Cathy (Greg Dowdall) and Joey (Kendall Soucie); Stacey (Brett Polloway), Erin (Gavin Brauer), and Kathleen; Michelle (Dave Introcaso) and Beth; Andrea, Alexa, and Hannah. Treasured great grandmother of Colin, Cara, and Brittany; Katya, Wyatt, and Sydney; Anna and Jonathan; Aidan; Charles and Jack; and Norah. Predeceased by her parents John and Anna Vojnik. Dear sister-in-law of Andrew and his wife Margaret, Steve and his late wife Sharon. Predeceased by brothers in law Martin, George and his wife Betty. Much-loved Auntie Annie to many nieces and nephews, and their children.

She will be remembered for her devotion to her family and the Slovak culture. Anne was one of the original members of St. Michael's Slovak Byzantine Church, an active member of the Canadian Slovak League, and the Slovak community. Visiting Friday from 12-2 pm and 7-9 pm. On Saturday, family and friends are invited to meet at St. Michael's Slovak Byzantine Church (2120 Byng Rd.) after 9:30 am until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
