1921-2012

Tony lived a life of happiness, laughter and satisfaction that crossed over nine decades. Most importantly he lived a dignified life that was always surrounded by his loving family and good friends. Born in Codroipo Udine Italy on December 7, 1921, passed away May 8, 2012. Beloved husband of Carmen (nee Marcuzzi) for 65 years. Loving father of Richard (Wendy), Dennis (Sally), David, Lou-Ann (Edmond Maurice). Dear grandfather of Amie and husband Dustin, Darrin, Byron, Alicia, Robert and Jocelyn and three great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents Mario and Luigia and step-father Eugene (Gennio). Brother of Ennio (Audrey) and predeceased by brothers Frank (1991) (Ethel 2006), Bruno (2005) (Irene) and Arthur (1994) Barbara. Dear brother in law to Lino & JoAnn Marcuzzi, Larry & Colleen Marcuzzi and Anna & Mirto Lenisa. Tony will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Tony served with the Essex Scottish Regiment during WWII and was a proud Canadian. After being a self employed mechanic he worked for Windsor Factory Supply until he retired. Tony was a long time member of the Caboto and Fogolar Furlan Clubs. Words cannot express our gratitude to the exceptional staff at Huron Lodge (The Willow Second Floor). Special thanks to our family doctor David Scarfone, the CCAC and all of his personal care workers especially Joe who helped to improve his quality of life over the past three years.
