Peacefully with his loving family on August 29, 2011 at 76 years of age. Beloved husband of 52 years to Silvana. Cherished father of Tony and Rosa and Vince and Lynn. Adored Nonno of Silvana, Argentino (Tino), Anthony and Matthew. Loving brother in-law of Battista DiGiampaolo, and Zio to Connie (Remo), Marilena, Sandra (Nick). Survived by many loving relatives in Canada, Italy and the United States. A very special thank you to his dear nieces Teresa and Dina who flew in from Alberta and Quebec to see their Zio in his final days. Argentino "Jack" was retired from Ford Motor Company after 28 years of service. He was a proud member of Local # 200. His friendly smile and caring nature to anyone he knew will be sadly missed by all. Family and friends were a very important part of his life, he will always be remembered for wonderful Sunday barbecue's at Caboto Park and many card games with dear friends and family. Special thanks to Dr's Ing and Peer and respective staff for the care and dedication given to Argentino for many years. The staff of 4 west of Metropolitan Hospital cared for our husband and father as if he was their own, their compassion and nurturing during this very difficult time will never be forgotten.
