Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on February 23, 2011 in his 81st year. Beloved husband of 60 years to Marian (nee Brush). Cherished father of Scott & Yvette, Wendy & Syd Girling, and Ray & Maureen. Loving grandfather of 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Arthur & Lily Williamson. Art's sweet disposition, witty humour and his unconditional love for his beloved wife and family were an inspiration to all who knew him. He was an accomplished pianist who loved to entertain his family and friends. Art enjoyed sharing his love of dancing with his wife Marian, and forming many precious friendships. For forty years they were members of the Gingham Swing'em Square Dance Club and taught sequence dancing for many years. Most Saturday afternoons they enjoyed dancing and listening to the music of many of the local bands who were very much appreciated for their talents.
