Suddenly at home, on November 27, 2012 at 54 years of age with his loving wife by his side. Cherished husband and best friend of Gerry (nee Colombe) for 14 years. Loving father of Kevin Small and Elissa Tales, April and husband Randy Pare, Angel and husband John Turner, Adrianne and husband Kevin Couvillon and Olivia Hitchen and Leslie. Treasured Papa of Corey, Kevin, Dylan, Haylee, Hannah, Zoey, Adyson and Aria. Adored son of Bernard Hitchen and the late Gladys (2012). Dear brother of Pauline and husband Robert Swarts and Carol Hitchen. Predeceased by his brothers David Hitchen (1990), survived by wife Cheryl and Raymond Hitchen (2000), survived by wife Judy. Survived by his uncle Peter. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Barry was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan (sorry guys).
