Born in Serra San Bruno, Catanzaro, Italy April 20, 1920. Passed away peacefully with loving family by his side January 4, 2013 at the age of 92. Husband to his beloved wife, the late Saverina (Basile, 2005). Predeceased by his parents Fiorentino and Vittoria (Pupo) Figliuzzi. Devoted and loving father of Clorinda "Linda" (Giovanni Durante), Vittoria "Vicki" (Richard Ward), Teresa (Luigi Cutraro) of Rochester Hills, MI. Proud Nonno of Mario, Luca & Julian Cutraro of Rochester Hills, Elisa Ward and waiting in heaven for Nonno will be infant Marc Ward (1996). Predeceased by sister Drusiana and Nazareno Figliuzzi, Giuseppe & Pina Forgione, by brothers the late Domenico Figliuzzi survived by wife Teresa, the late Caterina & Gianni Timpano, the late Flora & Luzzo Zaffino. Brother-in-law of the late Giuseppina & Nicola Ferrarelli, the late Pasquale survived by wife Teresa Basile, the late Teresa Basile, and Saverio & wife Marisa Basile. Ventura proudly served with the Alpini Regiment in Italy during WWII. He leaves behind his legacy of being a loving family man.
