Passed away peacefully at his home in the presence of his loving family on October 30, 2018 at 80 years of age. Beloved husband of Goldie (nee Janisse), with whom he celebrated 47 years of marriage. Loving father of Jill Cadarette and Alison Voth (Darrel). Devoted Papa to Emma and Abbey, Bliss and Ivy. Son of the late Ellwood and Beatrice Draper. Loving brother of Gail Blasko (late Tony), late Roy, Anne Ellwood (Allan), Ruth Draper-Iler (Jimmy), Scott (Heather) and survived by brother-in-law Lawrence Janisse (late Myrtle). Uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Early in his career, Bruce was a truckers’ chaplain. In retirement, Bruce was a very active member of the community as a volunteer on many boards and committees.

Cremation was held. Visitation Friday, November 2, 2018 at 9 a.m. followed by Memorial Service 10 a.m. at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave., South Windsor, 519-969-5841. Private family interment at later date.
