Passed away peacefully on June 22, 2012 at the age of 87 years. Husband of Joyce. Father of Shelly Armstrong (Ken Downes), Chris Armstrong (Pam Byrne). Papa to Michael Paterson (Nicole), Paul Paterson (Sarina), and Spencer Armstrong (Alicia Bacon). Great Papa to Grace and Ava Paterson. Survived by sister Harriet Frye and nieces and nephews.
