After a brief illness peacefully on December 21, 2009 at 69 years of age. Loving son of the late Joseph and Antoinetta Mancini. Cherished brothe to the late Thomas (2007), Christine Bull, Lana and husband Bobby Hasiak, Gildo, Joseph and wife Anna, Mary and husband Mike McKittrick, Anna and husband Jeff Russell, Franca and husband Wayne Pheby. Precious uncle of Shawn, the late Shannon (2009) wife of Alex, Derek and wife Melanie, Andrea and husband Nick, Lisa, Andrew, Natalie, Wade, Wyatt, Bianca, Amanda and Dan, great-uncle of Tyler and Michael and great-great uncle to Jaxon. Carmen will be missed by his many aunts, uncles and cousins. Carmen worked for Sears Head Office in Toronto and enjoyed an early retirement. He loved to travel and he embraced life to the fullest. As one of the oldest brothers in his family he was a true inspiration to all and made sure that his siblings were well taken care of. He always put his family first. If you so desire, donations to the Downtown Mission or the Sacred Heart Church Building Fund would be appreciated by the family. A private family visitation and service was held. Friends are invited to join the family on Thursday at Sacred Heart Church LaSalle after 11am followed by Mass at 12noon. Father Larry Pare officiating. Cremation to follow.
