Charles Beaudoin

Peacefully, surrounded by his family on December 16, 2012 at 80 years of age. Beloved son of the late Louis (Oct. 26, 1993) and Harriet (Dec. 7, 2007). Beloved husband and best friend of Margaret. Dear father of Kevin (Tracy), Nadine Valotaire (Robert), Paul Sunderland (Candy), Mel Sunderland, Terry Sunderland (Kim), Janice Beaulieu (Brian). Much loved Pepé and Papa of 14 grandchildren. Dear big brother of Marjorie Meloche (Paul, Mar. 17, 2010), Leo (Donna, Feb. 10, 2010), Laura Simone (Dan), Larry (Anita), Noreen Laframboise (Jim), Carol Kovacevic (Mijo). Will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to the 8th Floor nursing staff, Dr. Christopher Blue of Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital and Bayshore for all your kindness and compassion. Special thanks to Dan, Diane and Lynn for your loving care and thoughtfulness as well as Fr. Dwayne for your comforting words and blessings. Charles worked many years for Earl Jones & Sons in Amherstburg, owned Marion Fruit Company in Florida, and was a former partner at E. Bondy Excavating, CDL Recyclers Inc., APCO Asphalting Ltd. and Lafre Trucking. Charles was an active member of K of C Council #5642 in River Canard, past member of the Heavy Construction Association of Windsor, Windsor Post-Polio Association and a honourary member of the Verdi Club. Charles was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers and the Detroit Red Wings and enjoyed his many friends and months spent in Florida. If you so desire, donations in memory of Charles may be made to the March of Dimes, Alzheimer's Society, St. Joseph Church, River Canard Restoration Fund or the charity of your choice. Visitation Tuesday 2-5pm & 7-9pm. K of C Prayers 4pm and Parish Prayers 7:30pm at Families First Funeral Home & Tribute Centre (519-969-5841) 3260 Dougall Ave. On Wednesday family and friends are invited to meet after 9am at St. Joseph Church (9399 Townline Road, River Canard) followed by Funeral Mass at 10am. Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
