It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles O. Leighton on March 10, 2012 in his 79th year. Loving husband of Mary Lou (nee Martin). Devoted father of William, Joel (Carmen), Julie Wilson (Robert), Michael (Catherine), Christopher (Edward). Loving grandfather to Robert, Hannah, Molly, Joseph, Justin, Elise, Leah, and Sophia. Predeceased by his parents Cecil and Ruth (nee McKee), sisters Beverly Farrah and Elaine Masse. Survived by his sister Cathy Bourgard. Chuck proudly worked as a Windsor firefighter for over 30 years and retired as a District Fire Chief. Thank you to the doctors and nurses at Windsor Regional Hospital, Metropolitan Campus, who cared for him, especially his nurse Anthony.
