Age 89, passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 23, 2012. Ed was a proud, loving, strong man who loved his family, his grandchildren and had a passion for gardening. Beloved husband of the late Rita Lorraine (nee Williams) Young (2002). Loving father to Connie Martin of Windsor, Vaughn and his wife Pamela Young of Belle River, Brian and his wife Gloria Young of Kingston, Nova Scotia and the late Kirk Alden Young (1957). Dear loving friend of Irene Izsak. Dear son of the late Robert and Geraldine Young. Dear brother of Robert Vernon and wife Daisy Young of Comber, Margaret (the late Jack) Krogh, the late Shirley (and the late Chuck) Sparks, the late George Young (wife Donna), Agnes (the late John) Freisinger, Audrey (Jack) McKenzie, Marlene (Rick) Burnside and the late Tom Young (wife Lee). Adored grandfather of Ken Jacob, Mark and Stacey Jacob, Kristy and Jay Boismier of Avon Lake Ohio, Erica and Joe Briffa of LaSalle, Laurie Young of Tecumseh, Jennifer Heikkinen and husband Michael, Shane Young and wife Yuko of Japan, Trevor Young of Calgary Alberta. Great grandfather of Rodney Gammon, Blaise and Zachary Jacob, Colin Jacob, Stone Dame, Brendan and Brookie Heikkinen, Gack, Miyuka and Aiura Ariel of Japan, Richard, Shannon and Sara Young of Toronto. Good neighbour of Richard and Shannon Moy, Lilly and David Howat and Diane Wilson. Mr Young was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces during WWII. Mr Young was a retired carpenter of Dominion Forge.
