With profound sadness and heavy hearts we inform you of the sudden passing of our loving husband, father and grandfather on March 11, 2013 while vacationing in Florida. Loving husband of 40 years to Judy (nee Connolly). Caring father to Jen and John McGuinness, Molly and Saverio Stabile, Nicole and Jason Bissonnette, and Ryan Lachine. Dear grandpa of Ashlynn and Erynn; Gabriella and Sabrina; Lucas and Jax; Noah and Carter. Dear son of the late Gord and Mary Lachine (nee Dahl). Dear brother of Angie Papineau (the late Leo), Jerry and Annette, Madeline and Denis Papineau, Aggie Rivait (the late Don), Gordon Jr. and Mary, Ursie and Bernie Strong, and Marie. Son-in-law of Vic and Kathryn Connolly. Dear brother-in-law of Susan and Michael Roberts, Sheila and Dale Nead, Robert and Toni Connolly, Maureen and Ron Osborne, Chris and Betty Connolly, Ian Connolly, and Mary and Bill Burleigh. Will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Chris was a Chrysler retiree after 34 years of service, was a member of Fr. Nicholas Point Council 4375 Tecumseh Knights of Columbus, was a referee in the Windsor District Hockey Association and Windsor Minor Hockey Association. In kindness, donations to Anaphylaxis Canada would be appreciated. Visiting Sunday from 2-5, 6:30-9 p.m. with parish prayers at 4:30 p.m. & Knights of Columbus prayers at 7:30 p.m. at Families First 1065 Lauzon Rd. East Windsor 519-969-5841. On Monday, family and friends are invited to meet directly at St. Anne Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. Interment St. Anne Cemetery.
