It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Claudia on November 3, 2009 at 62 years of age. Beloved wife of 41 years to Gino. Devoted and loving mother of Salvatore & wife Karen of Vancouver, BC and Konnie Di Piazza & husband Richard Sadecki of Toronto. Dear daughter of Yolanda and the late Galiano Candusso. Cherished sister of Ennio & Deanna Candusso and Sandra & Roger Brennan. Treasured Aunt of Jason, Jennifer and Jeremy, Erin and her special Katie. She will be sadly missed be her aunts, uncles, cousins and friends in Italy and Canada. Claudia loved flowers, animals (7 cats!), food and her family. She was a member of the Fogolar Furlan. Special thanks to her dearest family and friends who spent time with her during her illness especially her cousins Stella, Marisa and good friend Maria. Thanks also to the entire staff of Malden Park Continuing Care, Complex Care and the 2nd floor, especially Diane, Char and Justin for all of their care and compassion over the years. If you so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society. In honour of Claudia's passion for gardening, floral contributions would be appreciated by the family. Cremation services have been held. On Saturday, friends are invited to join the family after 10:30am at Families First Funeral Home & Tribute Centre (519-969-5841) 3260 Dougall Ave. followed by a Memorial Service at 11:30am.
