On March 3, 2012, at age 63 years, after a ten year battle with cancer Connie passed away peacefully at her home in Tecumseh with her loving family at her side. Beloved wife of 43 years to David. Loving mother of David and Beth, Jennifer and Leo Valdivia, Brandon and Terri. Cherished grandmother of Evyn, Riley, Allyson, Declan, Quinn, Maximillian, Owen, Everett, and Brogan. Dear daughter of the late Aurele and Lorraine Ducharme (Berthiaume) and loving daughter-in-law of the late Wilson and Ann Pirouet. Dear sister to Bev and Fred Talbot, Simon and Gaynor Ducharme, Roger Ducharme, Susan and Denis Gaudet, Emily and George Garant, Ted and Linda Ducharme, and Paul and Bernice Ducharme and the late Bob, Norbert, Mac, Shirley Byrne, and Rod. Dear sister-in-law of Colin and Michelle Pirouet, and Marilyn and Carl Sorensen. Connie will be fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews and lifelong friends Carmelle Mills and Mary Campbell. Special thanks to Windsor Regional Cancer Centre, especially Dr. Alam and her staff, Dr. Chevalier, to the CCAC for their support, and sincere thanks to nurse Bumni and Connie's caregivers.
