The family sadly announces the unexpected passing of David on July 29, 2011, with his family by his side at 63 years of age. Beloved husband and best friend of 41 years to Rosemary. Loving and dedicated father of Jodi & husband Lou Mavrantzas. Adored Papa of Noah and Ava. Dear son of the late Cissie Lemmon. Devoted son-in-law of Rita Duquette. Cherished brother of Shirley & Al Cogan, Irene & David Myers, Kathie & Dave Mather, Rick, Janice & Gerry Moore, Wayne & Debra, June & Kevin Telford, Raymond. Dearest brother-in-law of Linda & Rick Hogg, Ron & Cathy Duquette, Mike Duquette and Lorraine, Ted & Tammy Duquette. He will be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews. David was a very dedicated and valued employee of CP Rail for over 35 years. Even in retirement, his quest for work never ended. David had a heart bigger than himself, and was always around to lend a helping hand. He held his family close to his heart and treasured his many friendships. David especially cherished the time spent with his beloved grandchildren. If you so desire, donations to the Hotel Dieu Cath Lab would be appreciated by the family.
