Predeceased by his wife Carol (2007) and late Douglas Montague (2009). Survived by three children Gregory (Maureen), Deborah (Michael) Caron and Philip. Seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Brother to Grace, wife of the late Gerry Nixon, Muriel, wife of the late Victor Rolfe, Joyce, wife of the late George Strevel and the late Douglas Montague (2009). Many nieces and nephews also survive. Mr. Montague was a retired Windsor Police Detective and Sheriff of Essex County. David served as Worshipful Master of the Dominion Lodge #598 AF & AM. If you so desire memorial donations to Alzheimers Chapter Windsor & Essex County would be appreciated by the family. Visiting Tuesday 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Masonic service under the auspices of the Dominion Lodge #521 AF & AM Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at Families First Funeral Home & Tribute Centre (519-969-5841) 3260 Dougall Ave. On Wednesday family and friends are invited to meet at The Salvation Army South Windsor Citadel (1201 Grand Marais Rd W) after 10:00 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment Windsor Grove Cemetery
